We are a crisis management and turn around management firm. Our associates are former CEO’s, general managers, financial executives, actuaries, technology experts and marketing specialists. We have experience as operators and as directors of public companies. Associates are familiar with the issues facing public companies in the post Sarbanes world. As directors, several associates are experienced at leading Audit and Compensation Committees or as non executive Chairman. We
are available as interim management with the authority normally granted to the CEO, CFO, COO and other "C" level officers. Assignments can be as brief as three months or as long as a year.
We are not consultants. All of our associates have spent their careers in the arena; developing products, making sales, cutting cost and leading businesses through crises including bankruptcy, refinancing, restatements, shareholder litigation, qui tam suits, and SEC investigations. We are mature leaders who have successfully dealt with almost any crisis a company may be facing.
It is all too common for consultants, bankers and law firms to present their principals or "rain makers" when bidding for an assignment and then, once a contract is signed, the second team shows up. At Lawrence P. English & Associates the principals do the work. There is no second team.
